Naniwa Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has received an order for engine room pumps for two Large Cruise Ships being built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan for AIDA Cruises which is one of the main operating companies of the Carnival Group.

The ships will be the largest ever constructed for this cruise line.
The main particulars of the ships are:

– Gross tonnage: 125,000 tons
– Capacity: 5,112 passengers
– Classification Society: Germanischer Lloyd (GL)

The ships will be based in Europe and will operate world-wide, including round-the-world cruises.

High-grade Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze pump casings will ensure durability and reliability.

Naniwa pumps for the first ship are scheduled for delivery in June 2013.
