Naniwa Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd. celebrates its 60th Anniversary

Out of respect for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Accident of March, 2011 Naniwa delayed celebratory events commemorating its 60th Anniversary.

The ceremony involving only Naniwa employees, their families and retired employees was postponed by one year and staged on September 28, 2012 at the Rihga Royal Hotel in Osaka.

Naniwa’s President and CEO, Mr. Kazuo Sumida, sketched the company’s history and paid tribute to its loyal and growing number of customers who made it possible to reach the 60th Anniversary milestone. Mr. Hiroshi Noguchi, Managing Director, then presented Naniwa’s vision for the future.

Most outstanding employees were honored with an “Excellent Employee Award” following the speeches and bouquets were presented to “Contributors of Merit”.

Delicious dishes were served to some 300 participants. Videos showed Naniwa’s history. Games including a lottery contributed to a great party atmosphere filled with pleasant conversations.

The day after was reserved for a relaxed company outing. Its highlight was a performance by the Yoshimoto New Comedy Troupe.

The Naniwa team is strongly motivated to achieve new goals, relying on continued support by customers, thus meeting new highs, satisfying ever growing and challenging demands.
