Naniwa Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has received an order for engine room pumps for ten 13,000 TEU container ships to be built by Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea for Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCL).

OOCL is one of the leading container ship companies, currently operating in 58 countries around the globe with approximately 230 business offices. It owns approximately 150 ships and 500,000 TEU containers.  A large number of the container ships owned by OOCL have Naniwa engine room pumps installed.
